What would you do? 

Lead contracting projects within the Source-to-Contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and accuracy.

Key activities include:• Independently managing procurement contracting projects using templates and playbooks.

• Owning redlining of documents, proposing alternatives, and negotiating terms, escalating only when exceptions exceed playbook guidance.

• Negotiating commercial terms with suppliers and ensuring accurate reflection in contracts.

• Advising stakeholders on interpretation, risks, and governance standards.

• Preparing and sharing updates on contract status, compliance, risks, and modifications.

• Coordinating with Legal and Contracting COE for escalations and governance alignment.

• Using AI tools to streamline redlining, clause review, and summarize with validated, compliant outputs

.• Communicating clearly with stakeholders, suppliers, and teams.

• Managing concurrent contracting workstreams in fast-paced, dynamic, matrixed environments.
 

What are we looking for? 

• 5–7 years in procurement and/or legal/paralegal roles, including 4+ years in contract management.

• Contracting Expertise: Proven ability to draft, redline, and negotiate contract terms independently. 

Strong familiarity with playbooks, templates, and governance standards. 

Skilled in advising stakeholders on contract interpretation, compliance risks, and governance.

• AI Literacy:o Proficiency in AI tools for contracting workflows (redlining, clause review, summarization).

o Ability to validate AI outputs against policies and playbooks.

o Commitment to adopting emerging AI technologies responsibly to enhance quality and efficiency.

• Skills: Strong numeric/text analysis; evaluate supplier terms, commercial language, and risks to identify optimization opportunities.

• Collaboration & Engagement: Trusted partner to suppliers, sourcing managers, and legal stakeholders. 

Effective communicators across remote and in-person environments.

• Project Management: Experienced in managing multiple contracting workstreams independently in complex, matrixed environments.

• Tools & Platforms: Proficiency in procurement platforms, Microsoft Office, and AI productivity tools.•

 Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience) 

• Value-Add Proficiency (Preferred)• Advanced use of AI tools in contracting workflows.

• Ability to refine documents for AI parsing (redlining, clause review, summarization).

• Strong numerical and text-based analysis of supplier terms.

• Effective communicator with proven ability to prepare structured outputs for executives and stakeholders.

• Trusted collaborator across sourcing, legal, and supplier teams.

• Skilled in independently managing priorities and concurrent workstreams.

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

• Proficiency in procurement systems, Microsoft Office, and productivity tools.

• Legal or paralegal certification to strengthen governance expertise.• 

Certifications - Preferred: Legal degree and/or paralegal certification. 
 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

Lead contracting projects across procurement agreements, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

• Redline, draft, and negotiate contract language independently, escalating only high-risk items.

• Propose alternative language and negotiate commercial terms with suppliers, coordinating with sourcing managers when needed.

• Ensure commercial terms are accurately reflected in contracts.

• Advise stakeholders on contract interpretation, compliance risks, and governance standards.

• Prepare and disseminate updates on contract status, compliance, risks, and modifications.

• Liaise with Legal and Contracting COE to manage escalations, align with governance, and ensure compliance.

• Champion AI and digital tools for contract redlining, clause review, and summarization.

• Validate AI outputs for compliance with policies and playbooks.

• Tailor communications to executives, stakeholders, suppliers, and teams.

• Manage multiple contracting workstreams in dynamic, matrixed environments.

• Serve as a trusted advisor and role model for contracting best practices

.• Balance execution with advisory responsibilities to deliver high-quality agreements and outcomes.•
