Troubleshooting Routing, Switching & Security issues and providing solutions
Adapt/Suggest any Network design changes as and when needed
Documentation for all the technologies used for customers setup
Responding to emergency situations and performing effective troubleshooting during production outages. Lead and manage the incident calls
Troubleshoot all networking problems to ensure minimum downtime & maximum availability.
Providing technical support for installation activities and routine troubleshooting of Network Infrastructure.
Perform Change Management and Incident management as per the process.
Ready to work in 24*7 Shifts
Experience and Skill must require (Essential):
Knowledge and experience installing and supporting Palo Alto Security Appliances (minimum three years)
Palo Alto Networks certification preferred – PCNSA or PCNSE
A high level of Palo Alto expertise in design, configuration, migrations, tuning and customisation of features
Thorough knowledge of Panorama, WildFire, Global Protect VPN
Considerable knowledge and experience in setting up Cisco network components, specifically Cisco ASA firewall, Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, Nexus 9K Series Switches, Cisco Routers, WLC and Cisco ISE.
Knowledge or experience with Cisco Nexus 9K and Cisco ACI is preferred
CCNP Certified (Minimum Routing and Switching) certified (or higher)
Networking topologies and protocols. Examples being MPLS, VRF, SIP, Traffic Shaping/ QoS, VPN
Palo Alto Command line
Cisco command line
Considerable knowledge and experience in Site-To-Site VPN and RA VPN technology, VSS and VPC technology
Considerable knowledge and experience in NetFlow Analyzer, Cisco Security Manager, Citrix Netscalar Load Balancer, LANCOPE, Allot Packet Shaper.
4 to 8 years of experience in switching, routing, and firewall.
Familiarity with Data Centre environment and hosted deployments/cloud
Experience of supporting clients remotely and face to face
Experience with Wireshark or other protocol analyser
Excellent communication skills –both written and verbal
Must be flexible to work outside of business hours as per business requirements.
Needs to be able to remain calm under pressure and ensure a logical thought process is maintained.
Should have the ability to investigate complex WAN and Datacenter LAN issues in a multiproduct environment, Ability to handle complex network issues independently.
Should have exposure to ITIL practices
Strong vendor management skills needed
Should have passion towards new trends in technology
