Develop instructional materials such as training manuals, e-learning courses, presentations, guides, and assessments.
Create interactive elements (e.g., quizzes, simulations, case studies) that align with learning objectives.
Collaborate with Content Writers to align content with learning objectives, ensuring that it supports the desired outcomes.
Work with Subject Matter Experts to gather accurate, up-to-date information and simplify complex topics for various learner groups
Develop storyboards and outlines for training programs to map the flow of content and ensure that all topics are logically sequenced.
Break down learning materials into manageable modules and digestible content chunks to enhance knowledge retention and understanding.
Adapt content for different formats, such as e-learning platforms, instructor led sessions etc.
Work with voice overs and edit audio content
Ensure content is responsive and optimized for devices
Create assessments, quizzes, and knowledge checks that test learner comprehension and reinforce key concepts.
Ensure that all assessments align with the learning objectives and effectively measure performance.
Design feedback mechanisms to evaluate learner progress and provide actionable insights for improvement.
Upload and manage content within Learning Management Systems (LMS), ensuring that it is compatible with the platform.
Ensure content is SCORM/AICC compliant for e-learning modules.
Troubleshoot issues within the LMS, ensuring smooth content delivery and a seamless user experience for learners.
Create eLearning and gamification courses to enhance existing content for better engagement & reduced learning curve of learners.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Stay informed about new developments in instructional design, adult learning theory, and technology
Key Skills and knowledge:
1 – 2 years of experience in developing training materials for e-learning platforms, classroom training, and blended learning environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in education, Instructional Design, etc. or certifications in instructional design (e.g., ATD Certified Professional in Learning and Performance - CPLP) or e-learning development (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate).
Proficiency in authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc., e-learning development platforms to create interactive learning experiences.
Working knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Vyond, Canva) to integrate high-quality visuals.
Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Understanding of SCORM, AICC, and xAPI standards for e-learning content.
Basic understanding of HTML5/CSS will be beneficial.
