What would you do? 

Deliver complex contracting projects within the Source-to-Contract lifecycle, balancing execution and advisory responsibilities. Key activities include:
• Leading multi-phase contracting projects across procurement agreements.
• Independently drafting, redlining, and negotiating legal terms, escalating only high-risk items.
• Negotiating commercial terms with suppliers, ensuring alignment with sourcing managers and accurate documentation.
• Acting as primary contracting contact for clients, providing trusted advice.
• Mentoring peers and junior colleagues, sharing best practices and building capability.
• Contributing to contracting playbook updates, templates, and governance processes.
• Preparing and disseminating updates on contract status, compliance, risks, and modifications.
• Partnering with Legal, COE, and Sourcing teams.
• Apply AI tools to redlining, clause review, and reporting for efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with executives, suppliers, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.
• Manage multiple contracting workstreams simultaneously in dynamic, global, and matrixed environments.
• Balance hands-on contracting work with advisory contributions, advancing contracting excellence across regions.

Manage the processes whereby performance of client work is coordinated with the contract rights and obligations of the parties to ensure contract compliance (or that the contract is modified as appropriate).
 

What are we looking for? 

7-9 years in procurement and/or legal/paralegal roles, with at least 5 years in contract management.
• Contracting Expertise: Ability to independently draft, redline, and negotiate complex agreements, using playbooks, templates, and governance frameworks to ensure compliance.
• AI Literacy: Apply AI tools for clause review, redlining, and summarization. Validate AI outputs against playbooks, policies, and guidance. Drive responsible adoption of new AI technologies for efficiency and accuracy.
• Skills: Strong numeric/text-based analysis; ability to evaluate supplier terms, identify risks, and propose commercially sound solutions.
• Collaboration & Engagement: Build trust with suppliers, sourcing managers, and legal teams. Proven ability to act as primary contracting contact for clients.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor peers and junior colleagues; contribute to shaping best practices and contracting governance.
• Project Management: Lead complex, multi-phase projects across multiple workstreams; adapt to global and matrixed environments.
• Tools: Proficiency in procurement platforms, Microsoft Office, and AI productivity tools.
 

• Education: Bachelor’s required; legal degree and/or paralegal certification preferred.

• Communicate effectively with executives, suppliers, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.
